Seven days. Seven distinct colors.

A shared weekday legend, with darker down candles.

Base and down-candle codes

The base shade applies when Close ≥ Open, including a flat candle. The darker shade applies when Close < Open. Down shades are approximately 55% of base RGB brightness. These are defaults; customized inputs can change them.

Friday and Saturday stay separate

Friday is Tomato red; Saturday is Orchid purple; Sunday is Turquoise. A weekday is determined by the tool’s chosen clock, so a server-day boundary and a shifted local-day boundary can disagree near midnight. Align clocks before comparing tools.

Enable the directional shade

In Master, turn Day Clr and Shaded on. In Swing Search and updated candle indicators, use ShadeDownCandles=true where offered. The unfinished candle may change shade as price crosses its opening price.

Weekday strips, including the updated DaysOfWeek Bottom display, remain bright day legends. They do not encode candle direction. Signal arrows use their own buy/sell colors; a red weekday candle is not automatically a sell signal.

Keep the palette after upgrading

Existing presets may retain old colors. Edit the seven individual weekday inputs to these values, then save your preset. Review the result on a chart containing Friday, Saturday and Sunday bars.
